Lucille Wingard 1940-2015
With her beloved "daugher" and companion, Ann Flood, at her side, Lucille peacefully entered the gates of Heaven as she believed with unwavering faith that she would.
This lifelong volunteer shared her time, energy and support with countless organizations simply because she loved humanity and loved giving back to her community. Those who benefitted from her unselfish spirit include numerous civic, professional and non-profit organizations such as the Spotlights Theater, Lupus Foundation, American Business Women's Association, Victorian Tea Society and Church of Hope to name a few. Her dedication and hard work have been recognized by community leaders and her efforts have improved the lives of many.
Lucille is one of two extraordinary volunteers for whom the Chamber's Klipfell-Wingard Gift of Time Volunteer of the Year was created and is now presented annually by the Chamber president. Her many years of volunteering for the Chamber include serving as a Board Member and the Events Chair.
Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Lucille will remember the enthusiasm she had for people and that she always made everyone feel special. Her bright smile and eternal optimism are lasting legacies. She is missed.
